Whilst I was working on my InDesign layout, I was trying to think of a new and innovative way to display my furniture choices for each room. Each zone I believe has a similar, yet different furniture style, and I didn't want to just combine all my selections onto just one page!
Therefore I decided that for each zonal area, I would draw a simple perspective sketch showing the pieces of furniture I have selected.
I felt this idea would certainly help progress my design development skills, as well as presenting a clear idea of what I want the space to look like as a finished product.
The first sketch I did was of the main recreational area, which contains the wiggle stools, and the two table football games. I drew it up on Sketchable and then exported it into photoshop, where I filled it in with block colours. I didn't want the final result to be too detailed, as the main focus of the page is meant to be the real photos of the furniture.
The second sketch I did today was of the private workspace. For this area, I selected furniture such as the ANT chairs, the Belleville tables, and the Baudot sound diffusers. This workspace also has a feature living wall, which gives the room even more colour.
I was very pleased with how the rendered sketches turned out, and I will be sharing soon more layout sketches!
