The layout sketches I have drawn today have been for the communal working area, and the outdoor working space. However, as I have used the same furniture in both outdoor areas, I have chosen to draw the herbal garden (formerly known as the smoking area).
The communal area uses furniture such as the wiggle stools, the Belleville round tables, and the bespoke columns I designed for the project. Similarly to the previous sketches I did, I drew up the perspective drawing on my laptop, and later rendered it on photoshop. However my final design didn't look as appealing as I thought it would, and I may add in a sofa to my design for more comfort.
I took a different approach when drawing the Herbal garden, as the furniture I selected used Polyethene cord as it's structure. Therefore I felt it would be simpler to draw the furniture in colour initially and with more detail, before bringing it into photoshop to be rendered completely. The finished design appeared better than I expected, and I believe that my goal of improving my perspective drawings during this project is going well!
