Today I wanted to finalise what my zonal plan would look like for the Mark Addy building. After choosing my final floor plan, I was finally able to decide on what each location was going to provide to my clients.
For the Work of Eden coworking space, there will be 6 different zones:
Private Working Space
This area will provide members with a quieter working space to focus independently on their work without any distractions.
Communal Working Space
The communal area is a space where members can work with others on collaboration projects together, or simply those who don’t mind a little more noise.
Relaxed Working Space
Members will be able to use both indoor and outdoor areas to work more casually, take a small break from work, or simply relax entirely with views of Manchester and the river Irwell.
Catering Space
The catering space will provide members with both a space to prepare their own food, or use the catering service provided to everyone. There will also be locker space provided for members’ valuable items.
Outdoor Working Space
This will be an area for members who enjoy working within nature and an outdoor environment, as well as those who wish to get some fresh air before going back to work.
Outdoor Smoking Area
This area will provide workers with a space to have either a smoke break, or for those who like to have a cigarette while working.
I have produced a colour-coded plan to display my zonal plan in a more concise manner using Photoshop.
